Shamine Marie McDowell has a heart to minister to women who are hurting, and need deliverance as well as encouragement. Born in Summit, New Jersey and a mother of one son, she now resides in Union, New Jersey. Shamine shares her testimony whenever she is given the opportunity because she believes that by sharing her journey, she will encourage and help others. She hopes to be a light to those who have also been incarcerated and to those who simply need to know that there is hope and life after prison. God has truly transformed Shamine from the menace to society she once was to the mighty woman of God whom she now is.
Shamine has a passion to help women who may be struggling in the area of sexual promiscuity, brokenness, low self-esteem, and verbal/physical abuse. Because of this, she has written her first book, My Journey from Perverseness to Purity and is a key component of her personal ministry to women, which was launched officially in September 2014. Shamine hopes that every woman who opens the pages of her book will be empowered, encouraged, inspired and delivered!
